Personality: While he presents himself as a true gentleman to strangers, his actions with old friends and enemies could be considered uncouth and maniacal, if angered. Otherwise, he remains straight faced and civil, but has a keen way of insulting you, without being taken notice of until it's too late. His cunning has gotten him out of several sticky situations, and he is often prone to acts of violence if his temper remains unchecked. It isn't safe to say he is purely dark-hearted, but the amount of misdeeds outweighs the good, though nonchalant with the situation of human versus vampire. He is a very messy eater, and chooses young, school aged girls for his victims. Royal blue is his favorite color, and the one he wears the most of. When bored, he entertains himself with a visit to the latest Opera in town, or sits back and people watches from the window of his favorite Cafe.
Brief History: Born October 16, 1888 in the Whitechapel district, his was a time of poverty and disease, the terror of Jack the Ripper still swarming the streets even after the deaths had stopped. His mother was among the prostitutes and homeless living in London, having no money or means to support her little accident. With slight regret, she set the child in a bundle of filthy rags and left it in the gutter to come what may. Luckily, the wife of a wealthy nobleman happened to spot the infant from the window of her carriage, at once demanding the driver to halt so she could inspect his health. No passerby's knew anything of the poor things parents, and she was left with the option to be a good Samaritan, regardless of what her husband might think.
Raised by these illegitimate aristocrats, he learned the ideals of the upper-class and was taught manners as well as schooled in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Over the years he became the proper gentleman of their hopes, and of the ladies dreams. Perhaps it was that which caused his downfall, attracting the attention of a creature of the night who posed as a charming seductress, luring him to her bedchambers. What would have been imagined as a night of passionate sex in turn became his unlife and a world of new opportunities. Grimm has a very sardonic sense of humor, which is often taken the wrong way and causes arguments, which he enjoys nonetheless. His nobility is true, and a facade all at the same time.
