Brief History: Benny met his love, Andrea, when he was on a trip from home visiting New Orleans. The romance was whirlwind, he married her days after he learned she was pregnant. They had a short marriage, Andrea died when his daughter, Lucille, was five. Heartbroken, he did his best to raise his daughter. Benny was asked by his landlord to help run off some other tenants located outside of New Orleans, needing the extra money, he agreed. The house had an eerie presence, and his first thought was to turn around. What he found was a coven of demon worshiping vampires, intending to tear a rift between Purgatory and Earth. During the ritual he saw the soul of his wife. The coven convinced him to switch places. One of the witches saw the strength in his soul and embraced him, only moments before his entire being was through into the rift. Unfortunately the coven did not keep up on their end of the bargin. Andrea was not released, her soul was destroyed. Convincing a soul to willingly enter to Purgatory was the last ritual needed to summon, --. Leaving his daughter, Lucille, to be an orphan and adopted to a family of New Orleans socialites.
Benny's powers are of an average vampire, though refined from years of constant combat in Purgatory. His prowess has allowed him to kill demons, vampires, and werewolves; mostly with the help of his friends Kieth King and Desmond Harveau.
